We are big on the "builder grade to upgrade" motto, we purchased our house in 2020, we built it but opted for many builder grade options so we could do what we wanted in the most cost effective way. Our half bathroom is the MOST builder grade room in our house and now its one of my FAVORITE DIYs we have completed.

What did we do?

  1. We left the LVP flooring, but took the baseboards down so we could accomadate for the board and batten. We added board and batten around the space, addded the new baseboards and painted it SW Snowbound in a satin.
  2. We then installed our vanity which is the OVE Dove Gray 30 inch vanity from menards.
  3. We painted the walls SW Crushed Ice,  to give it a very neutral feel but minimal dimension with the colors.
  4. We switched out the light fixture, mirror and added the neutral decor pieces. To get the mirror to hand on the board and batten without a gap, we created a mount so its all flush.

And thats it! The entire bathroom took about 3 days, it was minimal work with a HUGE result. I have the whole bathroom linked on my LTK, shop the link below and as always follow me on instagram for home inspo, videos and some laughs.
