Are you looking to add some personal flair to your living room? Why not create your own coffee table using recycled materials? Follow these simple steps and you'll have a one-of-a-kind oak coffee table in no time!

Here's what you will do:

Step 1: Cut the legs

Cut them to your desired height (in this case, 28cm). Trace the shape of the table top onto the MDF plank and cut it out. Use the first plank as a guide to cut the second plank. Secure the legs onto the first plank using wood screws. Install the wooden strips onto the first plank and then fix the second plank on top.

Step 2: Fill the gap between the two planks

I used polyurethane foam and let it dry. Once dry, cut off any excess foam. Apply the first layer of filler and paper bandage to prevent cracking. Repeat this step three times.

Step 3: For the final layer of filler

Use a wet sponge to create a textured effect. Apply two layers of clear matte protector to finish.

And there you have it! A beautiful oak coffee table that you created with your own two hands.

Happy DIY-ing!
